Malaysia 马来西亚 (Hokkien:Má-lâi-se-a)is our closest kin as brother and neighbor. From the local perspective

This is where all Malayan born PR return home for their Chinese New Year and

Muslims balaik kampongs during Hari Raya..

• It is our nearest neighbor where some Singaporeans came from.

• It is considered as an Islamic country but secular state

• Without Malaysia there will not be any Singapore<political geographical and human history POV>

• Islam is the State endorsed religion though it is generally accepted that Malaysia is a secular state with the right of the individual to any personal religious <option to choose whatever> belief.
